March 2011 ‘Scotland and Beyond: Early Medieval Carved Stones’, an international conference held at the University of Edinburgh and National Museums of Scotland.

November 2010 ‘Light and Colour in Medieval Art’. This was an afternoon seminar with papers on Islamic, Anglo-Saxon, Roman and French approaches to colour. It was the first of our Edinburgh Research Seminars on Medieval Art, an informal forum to discuss and share new ideas.
