Research Team
The research team consists of Dr Penny Travlou (PI), a cultural geographer, and Dr Smita Kheria (Co-I), a legal scholar in intellectual property law and copyright. Dr Travlou’s research is interdisciplinary, focusing on the politics of public (and virtual) space, urban cultures, digital and visual culture and (online) ethnography. Dr Kheria’s research interests are in conducting empirical research to investigate artists’ and users’ perspectives on creation, dissemination and exploitation of new forms of content and their relationship with authorship and copyright.
