My research focuses on Postcolonial literature and theory, particularly that of the Pacific region. Current projects consider postcolonial diasporas; postcolonial translation studies; Anglo-American imperialism and the Pacific; postcolonial reception theory; and the medical humanities. For these workshops I wanted to explore the possibilities comics offered for some work I had been doing on the consequences of U.S. nuclear testing on the Marshall Islands and its population.
